Pierre M. Lubin, Ph.D.
Dr. Pierre Lubin is a seasoned international educator with more than 20 years of experience in the field of education. He currently teaches in the educational leadership and teacher education programs at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. After his honorable service in the United States Marine Corps, he went on to earn a B.A. degree in psychology from New York University; an M.A. degree in international educational development with specialization in curriculum and teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University; an Ed.M. degree in comparative education with specialization in organizational psychology still from Teachers College, Columbia University; and a Ph.D. degree in educational studies from McGill University.
Doctor Lubin has certification in both special education and school administration and supervision. He also specializes in the following areas: educational leadership, teacher education, K-12 education, urban education, Literacy education, comparative education, international educational development, educational and language of instruction policy, culturally responsive education, anti-racism education, and organizational change. As a parent and international educator—who has trained many parents and educators in different parts of the world—his work focuses on academic justice and success for all learners.
